"I grew up with multiple golden retrievers and labradors in our home so beginning a dog care business when my youngest started school was a natural fit for me."
The Common Canine began in 2014 and I have since taken multiple courses with the Institute for Modern Dog Training and hold a Canine First Aid certificate.
The Common Canine is a second home for my clients and I've know most of them for years or since they were puppies. I do not hire other people to walk or board the dogs and they are treated like my own treasured labrador. Photos and videos are sent home regularly along with any notes about health or behaviour.
I carefully select new clients based on how well they fit into the pack, ensuring a harmonious and happy group dynamic. It helps that I know them so well; I can anticipate their reactions to things or notice behaviour that is unusual.
